"If You Kill Him, He Won't Learn Nothin'."

"If You Kill Him, He Won't Learn Nothin'." (The Riddler to Two-Face, Batman Forever)

There is no need to forgive,
no need to empathize,
just know that if you kill the person you hate,
they will never learn anything,
they will never come to understand what they did to make you so angry and hurt,
and,
deep down,
you really want that,
you really want them to understand what they did to you.

Well,
if you kill them,
they will never understand,
will they?

====

I understand anger.

I understand people in Pakistan and Israel being angry with each other,
the Catholics and Protestants in Ireland,
but,
killing each other doesn't solve the problem.

I propose "non-lethal" combat.
I propose training.
The anger needs to be expressed.
The rage needs to be expressed.
But,
it should be used to grow and to show.

Just like in "Fight Club",
fighting is used to help each other,
to release the pain through violence,
but violence which helps to let it all out.
Talking is a big part of it.
The need to talk about what's going on,,
what is making one so angry.

It could become a sport.
A National Sensation.
Wrestling.
Mixed Martial Arts.
Boxing.
People could watch as those who are hateful of each other,
fight and hurl insults and express their anger and rage,
and come to see that they are ultimately tied into this world together,
and that hurting one another happens,
but the pain needs to be released,
just like a blockage in a hose,
and then one can get back to living.

Find out what your great needs are, then seek out places where you can be true to them.

Behind Every Action, Is An Emotion

"Behind Every Action, Is An Emotion." - David Julio Wang

It is important to be aware of this, so that you can answer this question :

"Why did you do this?"
"Why did I do this?"

The answer lies in the emotion which generated the action.

What You Fear, You Become

"What You Fear, You Become."

This saying is inspired by the stance many Republican Americans take against Socialism.
They believe that Socialism is for weak nations, filled with people who are a bunch of pussies.
Americans are strong.
They're fighters.
They are willing to go in there and get things done when other nations will just hide in their closets.

It's ironic then that the majority of Americans are sadly overweight and tired people and that the rest of the world sees Americans as being fat, tv-watching, uncultured slobs.

The weakness so many poor Americans fear and scream out against,
is exactly what they have become.

But.
Of course.
That is exactly what was supposed to happen. : ' (

The Solution?
Americans and everyone else need to talk about their feelings.
What's going on inside their heart.
Talk.
Cry.
Scream.
Get the pain and the poison out of your heart and soul.
Then the healing, and the peace, can begin.

Oh.
Watch Star Trek.
LOTS of Star Trek.
Lots of healing there. : )

If A Person Was A Puzzle Piece, They Would Be Happiest Placed Into A Puzzle Where They Fit, And Contribute To Creating A Complete Picture

"If A Person Was A Puzzle Piece, They Would Be Happiest Placed Into A Puzzle Where They Fit,
And Contribute To Creating A Complete Picture."
- David Julio Wang

Our society, ourselves, you and me, must strive to doing better in the way we guide people to life roles.
Nearly everyone feels "stuck" in a "job" they don't much like because no job = no survival.
People work with fear constantly devouring their life, turning existence into the living hell it is for most everyone.

People are unique.
People are plants.
Some environments will make the plant flourish,
others will kill it.

The Humanity Puzzle Piece

Humanity itself is a puzzle piece and the reason we are so unhappy is because we've forced ourselves into a puzzle called Capitalism where we don't fit.

You know what it's like when you force a puzzle piece into a space it doesn't fit.
The piece is damaged.

Unconditional Faith Releases Unlimited Potential

believed in absolutely,
believed in with absolute confidence and faith,
they become unlimited,
there is nothing they cannot do

Music Is Emotion Made Senseable

"Music Is Emotion Made Senseable."

This quote inspired by the episode Similitude in Star Trek : Enterprise (Season 3 Episode 10), in particular the scene at the end of the episode when Sim is preparing to die and he says his good-byes to T'Pol and Phlox.

The flute piece during these moments...
it makes my heart weep with sadness for the suffering of the human experience.

Music is emotion turned into something that the senses can experience.

Man Is Man And His Environment

"Man Is Man And His Environment." - [Modified from] Jose Ortega y Gasset

A person cannot separate themselves from their environment.
Both inexorably influence the other.

So saying something like,
"It doesn't matter where you go, you can still do anything.",
doesn't quite take into account the effects one's environment has on one's ability to do things.

It's hard to concentrate on studying when you are in the middle of a shopping mall.

It Takes More Courage To Cry And Leave Your Heart Vulnerable To Attack And Suffering

"It Takes More Courage To Cry And Leave Your Heart Vulnerable To Attack And Suffering,
Than To Choke Back Your Tears And Keep Your Heart Hidden And Numb."
- David Julio Wang

I have to refine this saying somewhat because I do not feel it is wholly fair how it is,
but the basic idea is certainly correct.

Crying is one of the hardest things a person can do in this Emotionally Constipated society of ours.
Showing weakness is tantamount to being worthless.

Oftentimes Other People Wonder Why It Is Difficult For You To Move. They See It As Going From Point A To Point B.

"Oftentimes Other People Wonder Why It Is Difficult For Someone To Move.
They See It As Going From Point A To Point B.
They Do Not See All The Invisible Points Which Lay Between."
- David Julio Wang

It is so easy to judge others,
but,
for our species to mature,
we have to start asking,
always,
what is this person's story?

"When You Truly Learn A Person's Story, It Is Impossible To Judge Them Anymore.
For If You Truly Know Them, You Know How Could They Have Acted Other Than How They Did?"

Thinking About Life In Terms Of Good Or Bad, Correct Or Mistake, Black Or White, Is Not Acknowledging The Whole Truth Of Experience

"Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated?" - Avril Lavigne

I like Avril very much,
but the desire to oversimplify existence is...to not acknowledge its complexity.

...still...I think she's right about her friend in the song though.
Hopefully, he will be able to become himself when he decides to stop being someone else.

"The Only Constant In Life Is Change."

When You Lose The Fear Of Being Hurt By Others, You Lose The Fear Of Being Yourself

"When You Lose The Fear Of Being Hurt By Others,
You Lose The Fear Of Being Yourself."

Censorship.
Holding back.
Not feeling free to be who you truly are.
All caused by fear of being hurt by others.
When that fear is gone,
who else can you be but yourself.

If You Want To Know The True Nature Of Human Beings,

"If you Want To Know The True Nature Of Human Beings,
Look At Children When An Adult Opens Their Arms In A Sincere, Loving Embrace."

Even though we try to bury our Inner Child as best we can,
deep inside,
we are all those little children desperately wanting to be hugged and loved.

...i know i am...

Learning ANYTHING Is Easy, If You Feel Loved And Understood

"Learning ANYTHING Is Easy, If You Feel Loved And Understood."

What holds people back from learning is NOT the supposed difficulty of the material,
it is the emotional burden they associate with the material.

That simple.

If someone feels Welcome to knowledge,
that the world wants them to learn it and that they're learning it would make the world a happier place,
there is nothing they cannot learn.

"The Pressure Of The Heart,
Blocks The Flowing Of The Mind."

We human beings aren't robots.
We can't simply stop our hearts from feeling, just to make the mind work.

We are not robots.

We can suppress.
We can redirect,
but we cannot remove,
nor stop the needs of our heart.

Drugs Are The Substitute For The Need To Be Loved

"Drugs Are The Substitute For The Need To Be Loved."

We all need to be loved to be healthy.

the need to be loved hasn't gone away...

If You Cannot Be Honest With Others, Nor Tell Them How You Really Feel...

"If You Cannot Be Honest With Others,
Nor Tell Them How You Really Feel,
At Least Be Honest With Yourself,
And Be True To How You Feel."

"Those Who Cannot Keep Up, Will Be Left Behind."

This is one of the silent-truths of our society.
We still are not a genuinely kind species, and are willing to sacrifice one another for selfish goals.
Why?
Because of pent-up, unexpressed feelings, which become infected and perverted like an untreated wound.
The solution?
The free expression of our true feelings.
That simple. : )

====

Now, sadly, it is still the case that if you express opinions and viewpoints which others find distasteful or disagreeable, you will likely be punished in some fashion, whether overtly or covertly, but the iron fist will find a way to strike you.

With this sad reality in mind,
make a promise to yourself.
"Even though you cannot be true to others, you will be true to yourself."
This will make you strong,
and when you are strong enough,
someday,
you will be able to express your truth to others,
and they will not be able to stop you with the threat of pain or punishment.

Remember :
"Just Believe In Yourself!" -_^

Regardless Of What Emotions You Feel, Feel Them...

"Regardless Of What Emotions You Feel, Feel Them.
Regardless Of What Thoughts You Have, Have Them.
Your Emotions And Your Thoughts,
Are Expressions Of Yourself.
Experience Them Fully,
They Make Up You Who You Are."

So many of the things we think and feel are "apparently" not conducive to growth,
but, I think we all can agree that at any given moment, we cannot see all possibilities or eventualities.

I believe a person should permit themselves to feel all their emotions,
to heed all their thoughts.
Blocking or otherwise holding them back is an act of denial.
"Denying oneself."
Doing so cannot but cause a split in one's mind and heart.

Honesty Creates Bridges Of Understanding. Falsehood Creates...

"Honesty Creates Bridges Of Understanding.
Falsehood Creates Chasms Of Fear And Ignorance."

We have to stop punishing honesty as a species.

HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY.

But, we will never be honest with each other, if we keep punishing people when they are honest and we find that honesty disagreeable.

All our problems come from lies and the hurt feelings they inspire.
Honesty hurts sometimes, but it is a clean hurt, which if treated correctly will not fester, infect and manifest itself in a perversion of human nature (e.g : violence).

If A Person Does Not Feel They Can Be Honest With Others...

"If A Person Does Not Feel They Can Be Honest With Others,
Then The Person Whom Others Deal With Is A Person Wearing A Mask
And Not The True Person."

Why do people wear masks?
To avoid being hurt.
Where are the sources of hurt coming from?
Fear and its manifestations : violence, insults, threats.
What causes fear?
Ignorance.
What is the remedy for ignorance?
Education.
What is the solution to the felt need to wear masks?
Education,
and,
the permission to express feelings freely and truthfully.

Ah. Dialectic a le Socrates.
Gotta love the question-answer pattern.

When You Believe In Yourself, You Can Truly...

"When You Believe In Yourself,
You Can 'Truly' Believe In Others."

Most of the time we pay lip service to the idea of believing in other people, but we do not speak with sincerity.
Why not?
Because there is a thorn digging inside of us, stating clearly that we do not believe in ourselves, and how can we genuinely believe in other people.

Simply stated :
"I don't feel good, so how can I feel good towards others."

What do I say?
I don't think you should.
I don't think anyone should feel good towards others, if they don't feel good themselves.
Forcing oneself to do so will be living a lie, and that's no good for oneself, nor the people whom one proposes to be supposeldy kind towards.

Find Belief In Yourself And You Can Believe In Others.

Even Though Nobody Else Wants To Listen To You...

"Even Though Nobody Else Wants To Listen To You,
To How You Really Feel,
To Who You Really Are,
YOU Can Listen To YOURSELF.
You Can Always Be There For You.
Be There : For Yourself.
After All, You Are Always There."

Just Believe In Yourself! -_^

In A Capitalist System, Everyone Feels Pressured...

"In A Capitalist System, Everyone Feels Pressured Into Living A Lie."

Competition.
Survival of the Fittest.
The Strong Survive. The Weak Perish.
Maxims like these are the guiding principles of the Capitalist system.

Is it any wonder then that people constantly feel the need to :
build themselves up,
put their best foot forward,
make a good first impression,
whitewash socially unacceptable parts of themselves,
and other beliefs which basically state :

"Who You Are Is Never Good Enough. You Must Always Exaggerate To Make Yourself Appear Better Than You Actually Are, Lest You Be Relegated To A Meaningless Role In Life."

Someone tell me that this is the best way for humanity to be enjoying corporeal existence,
because I-Don't-Think-So.

I believe everyone is capable of doing everything,
if,
they are welcomed and believed in.
That's it.
So simple.
Why's it hard then?
Because our repulsive Capitalist society hasn't produced people who feel happy enough inside to be capable of welcoming or believing in others.
sad isn't it?
sigh...
Well. It's up to all of us to rectify this problem.

Living a lie,
Endless falseness and fake smiles is draining all of our souls of joy.
All we have to do is welcome and believe in each other and all of us can do anything our hearts and minds can imagine.

Me?
I'm tired of living a lie.
I want to be living a life of believing in others,
and being believed in.

Believe It! -_^

'I Feel Sad.' / "I'll Teach You How To Ride A Horse."

A Conversation Between :
The Person Who Feels Weak / The Person Who Is Strong

'I Feel Sad.' / "I'll Teach You How To Ride A Horse."

'I Feel Lost.' / "I'll Teach You How To Build A House."

'I Feel Confused.' / "I'll Teach You How To Surf."

'I Feel Stupid.' / "I'll Teach You How To Program Software."

'I Feel Depressed.' / "I'll Teach You How To Make The World's Best Brownies."

...

'I Feel Weak.' / "And I Am Going To Show You Just How Strong You Really Are."

sniff. sniff. : ' (

We have been raised to believe we need to be self-sufficient, independent, and able to stand on our own two feet without depending on anyone...god...it sure is lonely and painful living this way...

====

Please, everyone (including myself), take note :
the above was the way a person can heal another from their wounds.

How?
By those of us who feel strong showing the mind-boggingly vast majority of us who feel weak,
just how strong we really are.

Why should the strong do that?
Because they were weak once too.
The part of themselves that remembers how it felt like to be afraid of life will be honored by helping those around to enjoy the strength they themselves feel.

====

I am going to make myself strong.
And I am going to teach and share everything I know,
to make others 100 times stronger than me.

Why?
Because that's what heroes do,
and I am going to be a hero.

Why?
Because I needed a person like that in my own life,
and I will be that person for all the people who have ever felt like I did.
Believe It!

The More Control A Person Has Over Their Emotions...

"The More Control A Person Has Over Their Emotions, The More Success They Will Have." [at this stage of human evolution, when our species is still heavily emotionally constipated.]

If someone else is being more successful than you, just know that it's because they control their emotions better than you do.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN SUPPRESSION...exactly.

More accurately, they know how to play with their emotions.
They know when to feel deeply, and when to muffle their feelings to a whisper.
Choking feelings off is never good, but it's possible to negotiate with them, to encourage them to be quiet while one conducts their affairs wearing their poker face, or Jungian Mask.

Is it healthy?
God no.
But, if you express emotions too freely : you will be hurt (until humanity matures).

My advice?
Find your way to control your emotions,
guide your emotions,
negotiate with your emotions.

Your poor emotions want desperately to be freely expressed, but, just like in any Repressive Regime,
Cries for Freedom will be Brutally Suppressed.
You don't deserve to suffer.
I don't deserve to suffer.

Keep listening to your feelings.
Plan for the day they can be freely expressed.
Dictatorship in its various manifestations is only a part of humanity's evolution.
The day is coming very soon when we will be a mature enough species to allow everyone to truly just be themselves.

You can do it.
I believe in you.
I believe in me.

And...hey.
This is just a dream anyways, and really no big deal. ^_^

The Greater Control You Have Over Your Emotions...

"The Greater Control You Have Over Your Emotions, The Greater Success You Can Achieve." [at this stage of human evolution when the free expression of emotions is still mostly unacceptable]

You can use whatever techniques you find most suitable,
but keep this in mind.

Every single person whom we human beings regard as having been "successful" has had greater and greater control over their emotions.

Success and Emotional Control are Exponentially Linked.
The greater Emotional Control, the greater a person's Success.

P.S : Once more, please take what you like in what I say, and disregard the rest. I do.

The Secret To Success Is The Suppression...

"The Secret To Success Is The Suppression Of Emotion."

...how contradictory of me to say that...but, at this stage of human evolution, this is undeniably (and heart-wrenchingly saddeningly) the truth.

All successful people suppress their emotions in some way or another.
Think about it.
Successful people are renown for being able to handle whatever crises come their way with ease and aplomb.
Some do get "angry" on the surface, but their mind is working with quiet efficiency.
They are able to separate their emotions from their actions, so that the two act independently of each other.
Success is simply not possible any other way.
Difficulties will always arise.
A person's emotions prompt them to react powerfully to those difficulties, unless they are suppressed in some form.

What Do I Think?

Naturally this horrifies me to no end of course.
But, humanity is still an immature, child race, and there are nearly no genuine adults around.
By adult I mean, Obi Wan Kenobi, Mr.Miyagi, or Gandalf, human beings who have lived complete lives and achieved a state of true calm and perception, who never need to bully or insult to achieve something.

Until the majority of our species has matured, all of us need to find ways to suppress our emotions, so they do not overwhelm us.

Qualifying Suppression [This Is Important!]

By suppression I do not necessarily mean smothering.
nor stifling.
nor strangling.

I call it suppression because it is not natural to me, but, what I do could more accurately be described as channeling and conversing and unforming.

I channel my emotions into energy. I control the flow of the faucet and guide where the energy goes.
I converse with my emotions, and apologize to them for having to suppress them, but I have promised my emotions that I will create a world where they will be free to express themselves openly. They just need be patient a while longer; until then, I need their cooperation.
I unform the world when I need to, meaning I see the world as illusion, as a dream, as a game, as not being very important at all. The human experience is a very brief one. Insignificant really. Nothing really matters. It's not "bad", it's the nature of the universe. All things are transient. Holding onto the human experience is holding onto sand with the wind blowing. Just listen to the birds. Inhale air. Feel the sun. Enjoy food. It lasts only briefly and passes. No need to be sad. The universe is the universe. You choose when you want to be in the world of form and the world of being. The world of human experiences and the world of cosmic ebb and flow, devoid of good and bad.

Conclusion

If you want to be successful, find the technique that suits you to suppress your emotions.

I don't like it.
I hate it really, but, until humanity matures, we need to in order to survive and be successful.

Don't worry.
When more of us are mature, and don't react violently to freely expressing emotions, we won't have to suppress anymore.

And, here's a little secret :
when you suppress your emotions, the way you perceive your emotions changes, and you change, and you become more attuned to what you truly feel, and the quality of how you need to express your emotions changes.

P.S : Remember, my advice is only advice, only words. Take what you like, and what you don't, treat as dust in the wind. Find your own path.

Discipline Is Best When It Comes...

"Discipline Is Best When It Comes From Within, Not From Without."

People are very disciplined, when they are doing what they love.
What's the secret to a happy society?
One which is 100% Dedicated to insuring that everyone is doing what they love in life.

And we humans are very reasonable creatures.
We will do jobs which we do not enjoy if we know that our society is dedicated to making sure we will be doing what we love as soon as it is feasible.
Work as a Janitor until there is space in the Robotics Technical College?
Sure. If that's what society needs help with. Why? Because you love your society and your species and are willing to do whatever it takes to help it, because you know your society is committed to you doing what you love.

Pressure Which Is Allowed To Build In A System...

"Pressure Which Is Allowed To Build In A System Without Release, Will Inevitably Cause Damage By Either,

Bulging : Forcing The System To Accommodate More Pressure Than It Was Designed To Handle And Placing Cumulatively Increasing Strain On It, And

Bursting : Pressure Building To Such A Degree That A System Can No Longer Contain It, And It Subsequently Ruptures Resulting In Unmitigated Damage."

"To Insure That This Is Not The Case, Pressure Must ALWAYS Be Released In The Manner Most Conducive To The System Under Strain."

"The Consequences Of Not Doing So Are Constant Burstings, Ever Increasing, Until The Earth's Very Own Life Sustaining Ecosystem Itself, Bursts, Thus Ending The Existence Of Life On The Planet."

"And By Systems, I Refer To ALL Systems, Very Much Including A Person's Own Personal Life, And The Constant Pressure It Is Subjected To In An Inhumane And Unfeeling Capitalist System."

"If Our Species Wants To Continue To Exist, We MUST Evolve Beyond Capitalism Very Soon, Or Else, The Human Experiment Will End, Because The Explosion Of Pressure Our Technology Has Enabled Us To Achieve Now, Will Consume Ourselves And The Planet."

We are very much a part of the Earth.
Our little, personal problems, are the Earth's problems.
We've got to allow each other to express ourselves freely, or else the "chain reaction" of hurt feelings will domino and take us all with it.

It starts with allowing yourself to cry when you're hurt.
This is a human being's most elemental pressure release mechanism.
Holding back tears, is tantamount to signing the Earth's death warrant.

"When Tears Cannot Be Shed, Blood Is Shed In Its Stead."
