The Secret To Success Is The Suppression...

"The Secret To Success Is The Suppression Of Emotion."

...how contradictory of me to say that...but, at this stage of human evolution, this is undeniably (and heart-wrenchingly saddeningly) the truth.

All successful people suppress their emotions in some way or another.
Think about it.
Successful people are renown for being able to handle whatever crises come their way with ease and aplomb.
Some do get "angry" on the surface, but their mind is working with quiet efficiency.
They are able to separate their emotions from their actions, so that the two act independently of each other.
Success is simply not possible any other way.
Difficulties will always arise.
A person's emotions prompt them to react powerfully to those difficulties, unless they are suppressed in some form.

What Do I Think?

Naturally this horrifies me to no end of course.
But, humanity is still an immature, child race, and there are nearly no genuine adults around.
By adult I mean, Obi Wan Kenobi, Mr.Miyagi, or Gandalf, human beings who have lived complete lives and achieved a state of true calm and perception, who never need to bully or insult to achieve something.

Until the majority of our species has matured, all of us need to find ways to suppress our emotions, so they do not overwhelm us.

Qualifying Suppression [This Is Important!]

By suppression I do not necessarily mean smothering.
nor stifling.
nor strangling.

I call it suppression because it is not natural to me, but, what I do could more accurately be described as channeling and conversing and unforming.

I channel my emotions into energy. I control the flow of the faucet and guide where the energy goes.
I converse with my emotions, and apologize to them for having to suppress them, but I have promised my emotions that I will create a world where they will be free to express themselves openly. They just need be patient a while longer; until then, I need their cooperation.
I unform the world when I need to, meaning I see the world as illusion, as a dream, as a game, as not being very important at all. The human experience is a very brief one. Insignificant really. Nothing really matters. It's not "bad", it's the nature of the universe. All things are transient. Holding onto the human experience is holding onto sand with the wind blowing. Just listen to the birds. Inhale air. Feel the sun. Enjoy food. It lasts only briefly and passes. No need to be sad. The universe is the universe. You choose when you want to be in the world of form and the world of being. The world of human experiences and the world of cosmic ebb and flow, devoid of good and bad.

Conclusion

If you want to be successful, find the technique that suits you to suppress your emotions.

I don't like it.
I hate it really, but, until humanity matures, we need to in order to survive and be successful.

Don't worry.
When more of us are mature, and don't react violently to freely expressing emotions, we won't have to suppress anymore.

And, here's a little secret :
when you suppress your emotions, the way you perceive your emotions changes, and you change, and you become more attuned to what you truly feel, and the quality of how you need to express your emotions changes.

P.S : Remember, my advice is only advice, only words. Take what you like, and what you don't, treat as dust in the wind. Find your own path.
