"To Help Someone Understand Something,
Find Something They Know,
Then Demonstrate The Commonality Between The Two Seemingly Disparate Things.
The Fact That Everything Is Related To Everything Else Makes This Much Easier."
One of the special people I have known in my life explained one day how she had taught a bunch older ladies about investing.
The older ladies knew nothing about investing, but they knew cooking like the back of their own hand.
My friend spent a few hours explaining how to invest money, constantly referring back to the example of cooking to illustrate her explanations.
She said it was incomparably satisfying to see the bright light of understanding and comprehension in the ladies faces.
"Anybody can understand anything."
"If You Can Understand One Thing,
You Can Understand Anything."
If you understand that using soap while washing your hands removes dirt,
you can understand anything in the universe.
